Who is eligible to apply for review of a bullying and harassment complaint?

All current non-SES employees in both the Australian Public Service and the Parliamentary Service are eligible to apply.

Are there timeframes?

Yes there are important timeframes. You have 120 days to apply for review with your agency. If dissatisfied with the agency outcome, you have 60 days to apply to the Merit Protection Commissioner.

Behaviour that isn't bullying and harassment includes expressing opinions, providing feedback and taking reasonable management actions, with respect and courtesy.

What behaviour is bullying and harassment?

Behaviour that is bullying and harassment includes abusive or humiliating verbal or physical threat, unwelcome sexual advances, interfering with someone's equipment and unfair application of policies.
